A Hand to Hand

In 2026, Sikkema Malloy Jenkins presented the second solo exhibition of Magalie Guérin, marking a first combined presentation of her paintings and ceramic sculptures in the United States. The exhibition, titled ‘a hand a hand’, takes place within the context of an exploration of poetic forms and textures, exploring the connections between humanity and nature. This unique presentation offers an unprecedented glimpse into Guerin’s work, often characterized by an intuitive and sensory approach. The exhibition is designed to simultaneously present her paintings and ceramic sculptures, offering a complete immersion in her creative universe. It represents a key moment in the artist's career, consolidating her recognition on the contemporary art market. A public reception will take place on September 10, 2026.
