Since 1960, Anna Maria Maiolino has explored the deep connections between nature and humanity through works imbued with melancholy and a strange beauty. This immersive exhibition at Hauser & Wirth presents a retrospective of over sixty years of her work, divided into three captivating acts. Engravings and drawings from the 70s coexist with powerful photographs from the 80s, evolving towards contemporary sculptures. The exhibition is enriched by the projection of the documentary “ANNA—And the infinite line,” produced by The Forgotten Her Story, which offers a new perspective on Maiolino’s work and her artistic commitment. The event is free and constitutes a unique opportunity to appreciate the singular universe of this Brazilian artist, recognized for her ability to transform everyday life into poetic and philosophical language. An exhibition not to be missed for lovers of contemporary art.
