In 2026, Public Gallery proposes a fascinating exploration of the domestic space and its social constructions through ‘Dolls’ House’, a duo exhibition bringing together the works of Cece Philips and Rose Nestler. Inspired by historical exhibitions such as that of the Palais de l’Exposition Universelle de Paris in 1900, this presentation interrogates the relationship between interior, scale, and gender roles. The exhibition is interested in how intimate spaces are shaped and how the perception of the house is influenced by cultural factors. Drawing inspiration from the collections of miniatures at the Rijksmuseum Poppenhuis, it offers a novel perspective on daily life and social conventions of the time. An immersive and intellectually stimulating experience, accessible to all, from May 2026 to June 2026.
