Edith Dekyndt: Notes on What Is What - Marian Goodman Gallery
Inspired by the work of Aldous Huxley and his novel ‘The Island’, Edith Dekyndt’s first solo exhibition at Marian Goodman Gallery plunges into a poetic exploration of matter and time. The artist, whose works include paintings, drawings, sculptures, videos, and performances, uses physical and chemical processes to transform found objects into catalysts for change. Dekyndt is interested in the ephemeral and in how materials evolve under the influence of time and environment. Her creations are a dialogue between the visible and the invisible, between form and its transformation. The exhibition highlights a minimalist yet profoundly contemplative approach to art, where each work is an invitation to observe the subtle mutations of the world around us. The presentation is free and extends from September 10th to October 24th, 2026.
