Encased

In 2026, the Fountain House Gallery will present ‘Encased’, a conceptual exhibition exploring the tension between what is visible and what is hidden. Curated by Nancy Caton and Faiyaz Jafri, the works focus on the themes of skin, confinement, and packaging, questioning how we present our image to the world. The exhibition examines the duality between appearance and reality, suggesting that what is hidden can be just as significant. Wrapped, veiled, and tied elements create a visual tension, inviting reflection on protection, image curation, and the secrets we keep. This exhibition, which explores the notions of skin and envelopment, is an original and stimulating work. It is accessible from March 21st to May 13th, 2026.
