Glyphs

G.W. Bot, an Australian artist whose work explores the spiritual connection between humans and nature, presents ‘Glyphs’ at the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery. This exhibition, inaugurated on September 5, 2025, is a fascinating visual exploration of Australian landscapes through a unique sign language, the ‘Glyphs’. The artist uses digital prints to create complex geometric patterns, coded by color, inspired by books and Indigenous artistic traditions. Bot has developed her own visual language to capture the ever-changing essence of her country.
