Go! Figure!

Founded in 2000, the Fountain House Gallery offers an essential showcase for artists living with mental health issues. The exhibition “Go! Figure!” explores the iconography of the human body through over sixty singular perspectives, bringing together a diverse range of works from intimate portraits to abstract interpretations of the figure. This unique initiative, resulting from a network of 150 artists, testifies to a deeply humane and committed artistic approach. The exhibition highlights the diversity of artistic approaches stemming from lived experience, offering a novel perspective on perception of the body and self. The presented artworks – textiles, paintings, drawings, photographs and sculptures – are the result of a stimulating and enriching creative process. The exhibition is free and provides a rare opportunity to support talented artists while exploring universal themes through an original gaze.
