I Dwelled Into a Thousand Sunsets

Mads Bryld, a rising Danish artist, presents for the first time in New York an immersive work titled ‘I Dwelled Into a Thousand Sunsets’. The exhibition, which opens on May 4, 2026, explores the fragmentation and recomposition of the landscape through paintings where light is expressed in subtle nuances: pale yellow, moss green, and turquoise. Bryld draws inspiration from a ‘gritty’ and complex universe, working from the ground up to create compositions where the real is distorted and recomposed. JO-HS, an international gallery based in Mexico City and New York, spotlights emerging and established artists. This exhibition is a unique opportunity to discover poetic and original work.
