Jem Perucchini: Sospiro | New York: Tribeca | November 6—December 19, 2026 | David Zwirner

Jem Perucchini is installing for the first time in New York, marking a decisive step in his international artistic journey. The David Zwirner gallery hosts this major event which presents his latest figurative paintings, as well as an series of previously unseen compositions created specially for this occasion. The Italian-Ethiopian artist deploys a singular aesthetic, brilliantly fusing the codes of classic European painting with contemporary themes. His works captivate by the precision of the line and a quasi-mystical atmosphere, where faces and postures seem suspended in time. Upon entering this Tribeca space, you gain access to a renewed vision of figuration, driven by a creator whose talent redefines the boundaries of contemporary art. A rare opportunity to see these pieces up close before they are integrated into major private collections.
