Larry Kagan

In 2026, the Louis K. Meisel Gallery will spotlight the singular work of Larry Kagan, a master of contemporary sculpture. Kagan, known for his bold approach, transforms metal, light, and shadow into hypnotic compositions. The exhibition presents a selection of his most recent works, exploring the tension between mass and transparency, volume and void. Kagan has often been described as an ‘architect of light,’ manipulating these elements to create powerful visual experiences. This presentation offers a unique opportunity to appreciate the technical mastery and artistic vision of one of the most innovative sculptors of his generation. The exhibition is open from May 9th to June 20th, 2026. A must-see for lovers of modern and contemporary art.
