Lee Bul. The Anatomy of Every Setting Sun

In a dialogue between futurism and vestiges, Lee Bul presents at Hauser & Wirth a striking exploration of modern illusions. The artist, a major figure in contemporary art, questions the ruptures between utopian aspiration and corrupted reality, skillfully linking technology, history, and nature. This exhibition marks the first part of a collaboration with the gallery, bringing together recent sculptures and key works. The work is characterized by crystalline forms and mechanical ruins, reflecting a sharp critique of our past ideals. Their assemblage evokes a post-apocalyptic landscape where the promises of unlimited progress collapse. An immersive and intellectually stimulating experience, this exhibition is an opportunity to delve into the complex and poetic thought of Lee Bul. The exhibition is free and accessible from September 10th to October 24th, 2026.
