Meg Webster, a major figure in minimal art and ecological engagement, presents a new exhibition at the Paula Cooper Gallery. The event, which opens on May 9, 2026, highlights her sculptures and drawings, enhanced by an inédite (new) installation using natural materials. Inspired by a deep respect for the environment, Webster creates human-scale works, often composed of salt, clay, and moss, exploring the links between form and nature. This exhibition continues an artistic approach that began with works such as ‘Concave Earth’ (1986/1990), now integrated into the Dia Beacon collection. Webster, whose work has been exhibited at Dia Beacon (2024-2026) and the Bourse de Commerce – Pinault, offers an immersive experience where the fragility and strength of natural elements are brought to light. The exhibition is free and will run until July 24, 2026.
