Michael Reafsnyder

In May 2026, Miles McEnery Gallery will host a significant work by Michael Reafsnyder. The artist, known for his explorations of form and light, presents here a deeply personal piece characterized by a remarkably restrained color palette – a significant departure from his previous productions. This exhibition offers an unprecedented glimpse into his artistic process, where the economy of colors intensifies the emotional impact of the compositions. Reafsnyder explores the tensions between shadow and light, matter and space with striking accuracy. This series, visible from May 14th to June 20th, is a unique opportunity to appreciate the maturity and singularity of his style. A contemplative and powerful presentation, not to be missed.
