Inaugurated in July 2026, the exhibition at the Jewish Museum of New York reveals the unrecognized contributions of approximately thirty female artists from the Wiener Werkstätte. Between 1903 and 1938, these key figures, including Valey Wieselthier and Felice Rix-Ueno, redefined modern aesthetics in Vienna, exploring ceramics, textiles, and painting with unprecedented boldness. The event highlights their crucial role in a movement often dominated by men, revealing artworks of surprising richness and complexity. More than 200 objects will be presented, offering an unprecedented glimpse into the diversity and innovation of these female talents. The exhibition is presented in cooperation with the MAK - Museum of Applied Arts, Vienna. A unique opportunity to discover exceptional creations and reassess art history.
