Monomyths | Chidy Wayne

Chidy Wayne uses the human body as a playground for our ancestral memories. Based in Barcelona, the artist presents his first major solo exhibition with the Southern Guild gallery, showcasing a series of paintings using mixed media techniques. His works transform the human figure into a true receptacle where personal legacies and universal experiences intertwine. Far from classical portraits, Wayne manipulates the material to give life to archetypal, almost mythological silhouettes that seem to carry the weight of history. This unpublished selection strikes with its ability to make the invisible visible: buried memories and the collective unconscious.
