New Traditionalists

In July 2026, The Hole gallery in New York will present ‘New Traditionalists’, its fourth flagship exhibition exploring the intersections between art, design and craftsmanship. This initiative, a collaboration with Adam D. Miller of The Pit, focuses on works in ceramics, furniture, textiles, glass and functional objects that blur the boundaries between artistic creation and utility. The exhibition highlights a new generation of artists working in diverse media, exploring the relationship between form, function and materials. Inspired by Devo’s album ‘New Traditionalists’ proposes a dialogue between tradition and innovation, questioning the role of art in our daily lives. The event will take place from July 2nd to August 23rd, 2026, offering a unique opportunity to appreciate the convergence of contemporary art and artisanal practices. The exhibition is free.
