In 1967, Robert Smithson posed the question: how to translate a landscape into art? This exhibition presents a selection of previously unseen works that interrogate this tension between the real place and its representation. Hannah Traore invites a deep reflection on the 'Nonsite', these imaginary spaces that the American artist popularized. Contemporary artists explore the transformation of physical sites – from dunes to cities, including natural vestiges – into concrete and conceptual forms. The exhibition challenges the boundaries between environment and artwork, inviting the viewer to consider the very nature of spatial perception. A fascinating exploration of the links between memory, landscape, and creation. The event is accessible to all.
