Out of Hand: New Ceramic Sculpture

Céramics, a material that has been used since the dawn of humanity, undergoes a radical metamorphosis at the George Adams Gallery. From January 9th to February 14th, 2026, a selection of contemporary artists challenges the codes of earthenware to create a vehicle for critical and personal expression. Between pure abstraction and poetic figurative silhouettes, these monumental sculptures play on a fascinating tension between complete mastery of technique and the unpredictable accidents of fire. The roughness of surfaces dialogues with the elegance of organic forms, illustrating a true alchemy of raw material.
