Since 1960, Korean artist Ran Hwang, based in Seoul and New York, has explored the ephemeral beauty of nature through monumental installations. The exhibition ‘Noble Blossoms’ at the Leila Heller Gallery presents a selection of her works, ranging from complex sculptures to assemblages of buttons, pearls, and crystals. Influenced by Zen philosophy, the artist transforms everyday objects into poetic forms, often depicting birds and plum blossoms. This exhibition highlights a multimedia practice that balances fragility and grandeur, repetition and transformation. The works, created with meticulous attention to detail, invite deep contemplation. ‘Noble Blossoms’ is a unique opportunity to admire the work of an internationally recognized contemporary artist, whose creations have been exhibited at the Korea Society in New York and prestigious institutions such as UNESCO in Paris. The exhibition is open from April 18 to May 8, 2026.
