At 80 years old, Scott Kahn offers a new dive into a universe where the ordinary transforms into extraordinary. Inspired by the work of Matthew Wong, he continues to explore everyday landscapes – illuminated fields, bare trees, slums – with poetic sensitivity and vibrant, almost electric color palettes. The exhibition ‘Silent Night’ gathers a significant collection of his works, ranging from recent creations to paintings dating back the last 25 years. Kahn creates a tension between familiarity and strangeness, capturing moments of unexpected beauty in the daily routine. This exhibition is particularly noteworthy for its presentation of works that explore the relationship between human perception and reality, offering a unique perspective on our environment. The exhibition is free and accessible to all.
