The Watchers

In 2026, Ryan Flores will exhibit his ceramic sculptures at the Jane Hartsook Gallery of Greenwich House Pottery, an institution dedicated to promoting emerging artists in the field of ceramics. The exhibition “The Watchers” presents a series of works inspired by still lifes, where the artist explores the relationship between static image and three-dimensional form. Flores uses relief techniques to create captivating pieces, fusing visual and sculptural references. The exhibition is the result of meticulous work, reflecting his innovative approach and mastery of the ceramic medium. An artist talk will take place on September 17th at 4:00 p.m., followed by a reception open to the public the same day from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. This exhibition is a unique opportunity to appreciate contemporary art and the creativity of an emerging talent, while discovering Greenwich House Pottery’s exceptional collections.
