In 2026, Almine Rech New York presents the powerful works of Vaughn Spann, an artist whose work often explores the tensions between identity and power. '(All) Americans', her sixth solo exhibition with the gallery, is a dive into historical and socially charged urban landscapes. Spann deconstructs American myths through bold and vibrant compositions, blending photography and painting. The exhibition invites a critical look at the legacy of the American dream and its contemporary consequences. A series of previously unseen works is being presented to the public for the first time.
