Founded in the 1970s by photographers from The New York Times, Soho Photo Gallery is one of the oldest and most influential photography galleries in New York. From May to June 2026, the exhibition ‘WalkaboutNY’ will present the work of an artist exploring geometry, texture, and color through street photography. Their approach, characterized by an absence of filters and digital retouching, aims to capture ‘edges and borders’ that disappear, revealing images of striking purity. This exhibition is a testament to the city’s photographic tradition, nurtured by a community of passionate artists. The works will be exhibited Wednesday through Sunday, from 12pm to 6pm. It’s a unique opportunity to discover a singular artistic work, the result of a contemplative and precise approach.
