Yu-Wen Wu: From Rock to Cloud

In 2026, artist Yu-Wen Wu will present an exhibition at Nunu Fine Art exploring the complexity of cultural migration. Through sculptures, installations, and works on paper, she interrogates the transformation of family and personal identity when it crosses borders and oceans. Inspired by Taiwanese and American traditions, Wu uses everyday and natural materials to create poignant reflections on the feeling of belonging and displacement. The exhibition, titled "From Rock to Cloud," focuses on how kinship ties and self-identity evolve through generations. Wu thus transforms raw elements into works that evoke memory and cultural heritage. This exhibition offers an original perspective on contemporary issues related to identity and travel, combining artistic sensitivity with social reflection. The work is accessible for free.
