Ceramics Now

Since 1909, Greenwich House Pottery has been a beacon for ceramics art in New York. The exhibition Ceramics Now spotlights the works of the 2025 Resident Artists – Lizzy Chemel, Amir Hariri and Melissa Joseph – offering a window into innovative approaches to the medium. This collaboration, supported by the Greenwich House Pottery Artist Residency program, explores the transformation of clay, transforming a humble material into poetic expressions of “reverence,” as illustrated by the works presented in this exhibition. The exhibition, which will open on July 23, 2026, offers an exploration of the techniques and ideas of these three emerging talents.
