Chia-Yun Wu: Elsewhere

In 2026, Taiwanese artist Chia-Yun Wu will unveil ‘Elsewhere,’ her first exhibition at Nunu Fine Art. Drawing from a constantly evolving cultural lineage, she explores the themes of home and identity through a series of photographs and installations. The work draws upon family archives and landscapes, reflecting the complexity of the Taiwanese diaspora and its status as an unrecognized nation. Wu, trained at the Royal College of Art and having worked with ICP, uses a rich visual language – including film, mobile imagery, mixed media, and photography – to question notions of memory and belonging. This exhibition is presented within the framework of the ‘Asian Voices’ project, highlighting Nunu Fine Art’s commitment to promoting international contemporary artists.
