OSGEMEOS: The Open Window

Born in São Paulo in 1974, the twin artists OSGEMEOS continue to explore the intersections between hip-hop culture, Brazilian folklore, and urban life. Starting April 23, 2026, Lehmann Maupin will present ‘The Open Window’, an exhibition dedicated to their new creations. OSGEMEOS’ work is immediately recognizable by its iconic yellow-skinned figures and complex motifs, stemming from an “Oniric” universe they call “Tritrez”. This exhibition highlights a series of five new paintings, testifying to their continued exploration of this rich and symbolic visual world. The exhibition is free and constitutes a unique opportunity to observe the evolution of this globally recognized artistic duo. The artworks invite reflection on identity, memory, and visual storytelling.
