Crossed Gazes

In 2026, the Germaine Tillion Library will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary by offering a unique exhibition. In collaboration with the Fonds d’art contemporain – Paris collections, four artistic dialogues are staged, weaving unexpected links between key works from 1976 and the innovative expressions of young contemporary creation. This daring initiative proposes a genuine intergenerational conversation, where art from yesterday illuminates that of today and vice versa. It is a unique opportunity to see how artistic concerns evolve or resonate across the decades. The exhibition will be visible from August 21st to October 29th, 2026 at the Germaine Tillion Library.
