Black Room and Bright Room

In 2026, as we approach the bicentenary of photography, immerse yourselves in a fascinating world where the secrets of the camera obscura and ancient processes come to life. The exhibition “Black Chamber and Bright Chamber” highlights artisanal know-how and forgotten techniques in photographic creation: wet collodion, daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, ferrotypes… Passionate artisans revisit these methods to create original and surprising works. This collective exhibition, presented by Artisans de Belleville, celebrates the history of the image through luminous installations and unique creations. A rare opportunity to admire photographic techniques that have shaped our view of the world. The exhibition is free and offers an immersive exploration into the fascinating world of antique photography.
