In 2026, the Swiss Cultural Centre Paris invites you to a visceral experience. “Chienne” (She-Dog), an adaptation of Marie-Pier Lafontaine’s text, is an explosive theatrical piece that deconstructs the silences of a childhood marked by violence. Based on autofiction, it transforms the stage into a battlefield where the narrator, through “blows” of words, frees herself from trauma. Fabrice Gorgerat, director, explores the resilience and pride of the one who fights to regain control of her story.
