In 2026, the Swiss Cultural Centre Paris invites you to a visceral experience. “Chienne” (She-Dog), an adaptation of Marie-Pier Lafontaine’s text, is an explosive theatrical piece that deconstructs the silences of a childhood marked by violence. Based on autofiction, it transforms the stage into a battlefield where the narrator, through “blows” of words, frees herself from trauma. Fabrice Gorgerat, director, explores the resilience and pride of the one who fights to regain control of her story. The work, described as an “intimate bomb,” uses music and physical interpretation to plunge the audience into the heart of this inner struggle. An intense exploration of memory and reconstruction, “Chienne” is a poetic and raw work, confronting the spectator with the fragility and strength of the spirit. Performances will take place from May 20 to 30, 2026.
