For over forty years, Jean-Louis Courtinat has documented with rare intensity those whom society forgets. A militant photographer trained alongside Robert Doisneau, he has dedicated his career to capturing the dignity of the excluded, from the homeless to those at the end of their lives. Winner of the Prix Niépce in 1991, he pursues an unwavering mission: to testify without complacency or voyeurism. This exhibition at La Fabrique de la Solidarité brings together black and white images that directly challenge the viewer. His photographs do not judge, they humanize. They tell stories of resilience and fragility, transforming glances into acts of recognition. A free exhibition inviting you to look beyond appearances until the end of January.
