Naturalistic and Botanical Drawing

Jessie Lousteau, a talented illustrator, guides the eyes and hands of the students at the Centre Paris Anim’ Rébeval in celebrating Science Autumn. From September 3rd to October 1st, 2026, the Jacqueline Dreyfus-Weill Library will exhibit these works where scientific rigor combines with the poetry of line. Each plate is the result of patient observation of wildlife and flora, capturing the texture of bark or the detail of a wing with fascinating accuracy. This event highlights the work of passionate amateurs who revive the tradition of documentary illustration. It’s the ideal opportunity to admire biodiversity from an artistic and educational perspective, within a space dedicated to sharing knowledge.
