Dragons

From the Neolithic period to today, 5,000 years of stories and symbols from Asia come to life in the gardens of the musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac, from November 18, 2025 to March 1, 2026. Designed with the National Palace Museum of Taipei, this exhibition brings together an exceptional selection of imperial objects, ancient bronzes, jades, textiles, paintings and everyday objects where the sinuous silhouette of a mythical being hides. Creatures of water and sky rather than fire-breathing monsters, these figures reveal another relationship to power, nature and the sacred. Thought for all audiences, the tour mixes rare pieces, legendary tales and sensitive outdoor devices, for a visit as playful as it is fascinating, alone, with family or friends.
