From June 3rd to September 1st, 2026, the Fonds d’art contemporain Paris-Collections will leave its walls to inhabit the Médiathèque Jean-Pierre Melville. Three visual artists occupy the space in a surprising way, weaving invisible connections between their works and the thousands of books that surround them. This collaboration transforms the usual calm of the library into a living and accessible expression space. Here, art is not observed from afar: it interacts with the daily lives of readers and curious visitors. By highlighting current perspectives and diverse techniques, this event offers an approach to culture that is closer and more immediate. It's a privileged opportunity to admire pieces from the municipal collection in a bright and open setting, conducive to reflection as well as astonishment throughout the summer.
