In 1918, Matisse explored color like never before. Today, the Musée Bourdelle invites you to a unique experience: sew your own artist’s palette! The exhibition “The Artist’s Fabric” reveals the clothing worn by iconic figures of art, from Klimt to Delaunay, and examines how these outfits shaped their public image. Participate in a family sewing workshop inspired by Foujita, where you will create a needle case and a tape measure box using fabric. These interactive guided tours, designed for children aged 7 and up, plunge into the heart of artists’ staging strategies. The exhibition sheds light on the intimate relationship between art and clothing, offering a fresh perspective on their universe. Families can also get acquainted with silhouette creation. A unique opportunity to stimulate creativity and appreciate art from a new angle.
