Paris 70: Collection of the Historical Library of the City of Paris

Imagine Paris in 1970, a city at the dawn of major transformations. A daring photo contest organized by Fnac mobilized thousands of amateurs, transformed into witnesses of a pivotal era. Armed with their cameras, they scoured the capital, capturing precious moments destined to disappear under the onslaught of modernization. Over 100,000 documents were collected. The free exhibition presents a rigorous selection of these photographs, a unique look at yesterday's Paris. Curated by Jean-Marie Donat. From November 6th to December 17th.
