Witnesses to Climate Realities

From December 2nd to 20th, 2025, the walls of the James Baldwin media library, located in the 19th arrondissement, will showcase the faces of those already experiencing the effects of climate change. Created in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), these photographs tell the stories of lives disrupted, forced displacements, and disappearing territories. Each image is accompanied by short, clear narratives, accessible to everyone, to understand how climate change is reshaping human lives around the world. The exhibition is open to the public for free, throughout the day, at both the media library and the Refugee Center, during regular opening hours. This is a rare opportunity to combine artistic perspectives with firsthand accounts, and to reflect, as neighbors, on what it means to "seek refuge" in 2025.
