Book Fair Place

On May 30, 2026, Paris will host a new edition of the Place aux Livres Festival, an event dedicated to contemporary female authors and marginalized voices in literature. Organized by the James Baldwin Library, this festival will highlight 11 talented writers, including Rim Battal, Anne Bourrassé and Grace Ly, for a day rich in encounters, readings and workshops. Deployed across three partner venues, the festival will explore the theme of “the body” in literature, offering a space for dialogue and exchange around the diversity of female perspectives. Activities for young people will also be offered. From 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM, come discover these committed authors and participate in enriching discussions. It’s a unique opportunity to support contemporary literature and celebrate female talent.
