Since the 1960s, the Ticino-based artist Ingeborg Lüscher has plunged into the heart of fire, exploring its transformation and its impact on memory. This monograph, ‘Flammes’ (Flames), presented at the Centre culturel suisse, gathers a selection of works from her career, beginning in the late 1960s. Lüscher, born in 1936 and living in Tegna, offers an intense visual exploration of this primordial element. The free exhibition is a unique opportunity to observe the evolution of her artistic approach. ‘Flammes’ is a deep investigation into the relationship between destruction and rebirth, between light and darkness. It will run from March 26 to July 26, 2026. An exhibition dedicated to the work of a singular artist and her fascination for fire.
