In the Half-Light - With the Laureates of the In Situ Program

From February 26th to March 8th, 2026, the Cité internationale des arts will become the stage for an unprecedented encounter with the laureates of the In Situ program. Here, focus is not on the completed artwork but rather on the secret path leading there. This presentation lifts the curtain on the backstage of contemporary creation by exposing the gestures, research, and exchanges that animate the daily lives of artists in residence. By traversing this space of dialogue, the public grasps the raw material of imagination, between prototypes and shared reflections. It is an opportunity to understand how an idea becomes form, as close as possible to the concerns of international creators. This ephemeral rendezvous offers a living and organic vision of current artistic practice, far from the traditional museological frameworks.
