[In]imaginable: An Introduction to Lowbrow and Pop Surrealism

Born on the margins of Californian culture in the 1970s, Lowbrow and Pop Surrealism challenge academic codes by blending cartoon aesthetics, punk imagery, and classical technical mastery. Fluctuart sheds light on this vibrant visual culture that has established itself outside traditional gallery circuits. The exhibition traces the evolution of these iconoclastic currents through a collection of iconic objects and monumental installations created specifically for the site.
