In 2026, the “Iranica” exhibition at the FIAP Jean Monnet offers a novel perspective on Iranian art and culture. Curator Vanecha Roudbaraki presents a private collection of art by Her Majesty Farah Pahlavi, former Empress of Iran, which testifies to the revolutionary impetus of 1979 and the complexity of Iranian identity. The exhibition, the result of in-depth research (supported by the Encyclopædia Iranica), explores the tension between modernization and traditions, political Islam and the solitude of the people. It highlights the importance of cultural and artistic freedom, a central theme emphasized by the FIAP. The exhibition, accessible to the public daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., is a unique opportunity to appreciate a rare collection and to understand the history and art of a nation. It is part of a series of exhibitions by the FIAP, including a recent presentation of Farah Pahlavi’s collection.
