The Animal House: All Events

Jane Goodall has dedicated her life to demonstrating that harmony between humans and nature is the key to our survival. Located within the Chai de Bercy, this event highlights the issues of a metropolis where wildlife finally finds its place. Through an educational journey, visitors observe how to transform every balcony or square into a true sanctuary for birds and pollinator insects. This rare initiative proposes rethinking urban planning from the perspective of life, away from systematic concrete development. Drawing on concrete examples of welcoming architecture, the Maison de l’animal en ville (House of Animals in the City) becomes an idea laboratory to encourage the return of hedgehogs and bats to the heart of the city. An essential experience for understanding that every patch of asphalt can become a refuge, thus promoting respectful cohabitation with our feathered and furry neighbors.
