The European Night of Museums

The European Museum Night is a festive and popular event that transforms the museums of Bordeaux into places of life and discovery after sunset. During a special evening, the museums stay open late, offering playful activities, thematic tours, live artistic performances, tastings, and encounters with creators. It's a unique opportunity to explore collections in a friendly and festive atmosphere, discover lesser-known aspects of the museums, and participate in original animations. This event celebrates the accessibility of culture and encourages broad public participation. Many cultural institutions – museums, galleries, art centers – join this pan-European initiative to promote access to culture for everyone. The European Museum Night transforms traditional spaces into spaces of sharing and conviviality.
