Climate change is sexist! Women respond and act - an exhibition by CARE France and the MYOP Agency - Sur les berges de Seine (rive droite), en contrebas de la rampe Châtelet, entre le Pont-Neuf et Pont au Change.
In 2026, a never-before-seen exhibition reveals the disproportionate impact of climate change on women and girls around the world. Supported by CARE France and the MYOP Agency, this initiative highlights portraits of courageous women – photographers, farmers, innovators – who are organizing to cope with the devastating consequences of natural disasters and droughts. The exhibition presents photographic reports capturing reality on the ground, notably in Kenya, Zambia, Ecuador, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and the Philippines. It reveals how these women, often overlooked in climate discussions, are developing agroecological solutions and fighting inequalities exacerbated by this crisis. The exhibition is a call to action, emphasizing that the response to climate change must be inclusive and take into account the specific needs of the most vulnerable populations. An essential initiative to raise awareness of a reality too often ignored: climate change is above all a matter of social justice.
