Time as sensitive matter

Christian Marclay, On Kawara et René Mayer didn’t just address time; they deconstructed it. “Domestic Time | Bent Time,” at Art+Art Galerie, invites a reflection on the discrete temporalities that weave through the daily routine: waiting, repetition, wear, imperceptible transformations. The exhibition draws inspiration from the work of these artists and research on memory and temporality in contemporary art, exploring how art can reveal the passage of time. It fits into a tradition where film, like the Hermitage, short-circuits linear time.
