Lek & Sowat's Mausoleum

In 2010, Lek and Sowat secretly took over a vast abandoned supermarket of 40,000 m² to make it a secret sanctuary of urban art. Fifteen years after this underground escapade, this mythical space, long inaccessible, is finally approachable by visitors. This colossal project brought together dozens of graffiti artists who covered the walls, floors and pillars with monumental frescoes, shaping a labyrinth of concrete and raw paint. It is a rare opportunity to traverse this temple of vandalism, now a world reference. The works, frozen in time, bear witness to an era where creation broke free from all rules to flourish in the shadows. The meeting is set at Porte de la Villette from October 1st to December 31st, 2025.
