Mummies

Far beyond the Egyptian pyramids, the ancient art of body preservation has crossed continents and eras, revealing a fascinating cultural diversity. The Musée de l'Homme in Paris sheds light on this universal practice by presenting the fates of several individuals whose remains were preserved. This exhibition questions the importance of mummification in various societies and how these vestiges are now studied and respected. An captivating journey that details not only the preservation techniques, but also the rituals, beliefs, and humanity behind each testimony. A unique exploration not to be missed, from November 19, 2025 to May 25, 2026.
