Olivier Chapentier!

The illustrator Olivier Charpentier enhances the joy of reading with graphic compositions of great sensitivity. Until December 27, 2025, the Maurice Genevoix Library presents the original illustrations from his series designed for children aged 3 to 6. These creations illustrate the subtle transition from idea to drawing, where each colorful shape becomes a vehicle of emotion for young children. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, these works encourage careful observation of the paper texture and the precision of the lines. The selection highlights a universe where the dialogue between image and meaning is established with a natural ease. This artistic interlude offers families a privileged glimpse into the work of a creator who knows how to speak to the heart of childhood without ever sacrificing aesthetic quality.
