For five centuries, paradise birds have fascinated artists and naturalists. Starting May 12, 2026, the Museum invites you on an exceptional journey to the heart of the lush forests of New Guinea. The exhibition traces the history of these iconic creatures, from their vibrant colors to the artistic techniques that attempted to capture them. You will encounter works inspired by the northern Dutch masters, witnesses to their obsession with nature and detail. A unique exploration between biodiversity and art, offering a new perspective on the evolution of the representation of these extraordinary birds. The exhibition will run until November 8, 2026.
